We use Google Looker Studio extensively. It allows you to easily visualize data, create and update reports.
When we talk to in-house and agency members alike, one of the biggest time sinks in the entire company is reporting.
While we’ve made Looker Studio Templates available for free, some people are struggling to apply them to their accounts, keep all their accounts organized, or make quick edits to the templates.
We’ve put together a video that should make the process of using pre-built Looker Studio templates easier. We also cover naming conventions so you can quickly tell which company’s data is which in your data sources.
This video shows you how to set up Google Looker Studio and name your data sources. If you are managing multiple accounts, pay special attention to the naming. This helps you to quickly find those data sources in the future when you use another Looker Studio report for the same account.
Once you’ve copied a Looker Studio template and linked it to your data source, you’re ready to customize the report content if needed. You can edit page content, hide unwanted pages or add a text summary. Head over to our help center for more details.
If you’re looking for some Looker Studio templates to get started with, we’ve made three (Google Ads, Google Analytics, Performance Analyzer), available for free so you can get started automating your reporting today.
